The play features a mix of comedy and drama, but all thought-provoking in some way in highlighting issues pertaining to relationships.

There's innocence, idealism, joy, humour, reassurance, hope, regret, heartbreak, sorrow, and more – everything that comes with that "crazy little thing called love"!

PRODUCTION TITLE: Runaway Bride.

By popular demand, Footstool Players is staging a second season of its 2005 production Runaway Bride in 2006.

Runaway Bride is a challenge to the Church – the Bride of Christ – to return to her first love and her true calling. It is a collection of seven sketches combining satirical comedy and poignant dramatic storytelling that point out the maladies that subtly or blatantly affect the Church today, and urge us to rethink our passion and our mission.
